Our Specialist Behaviour
Support Services

Headway Therapies provides specialist support to create positive change in the behaviour of children and adults including people with:

What We Deliver

  • Registered and experienced NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioners    

                                  

  • We deliver 1:1 interventions with participants to develop relevant skills to enhance your quality of life.

  • Stakeholder training (face-to-face or online) to facilitate a unified approach to managing the behaviours of concern.

​

  • Education and support to the support team with regard to navigating legislative requirements associated with restrictive practices.

​

  • Resource development to personalise the service approach and meet the unique needs of all stakeholders.

​

  • A comprehensive positive behaviour plan tailored to your individual set of circumstances and when required, lodging your plan with the NDIS.

How We Work

  • A multi-disciplinary team delivering coordinated, timely, personalised and high quality services.

​

  • We are fully mobile, supporting your journey at home, school, in the community, day program, clinic or via telehealth, offering flexibility about when and where services are delivered.

 

  • We apply our experience and training in Applied Behavioural Analysis to undertake a Functional Behaviour Assessment which enables us to deliver clinical interventions with the aim of reducing or eliminating behaviours of concern.

 

  • We employ a variety of clinical interventions and provide strategies for you and your support team to give you the skills to improve your wellbeing and quality of life

 

  • We will assist in helping you and your team understand restrictive practices, their use, their impact on you and your rights.

 

  • We will ensure all necessary reports and plans are made available to you and your team.

 

  • We utilise funding from your capacity building supports: Improved Relationships in your NDIS plan and in line with the current NDIS price guide.
